This website is operated in order to publish the office details and practice areas of Mehmet Rauf Bayer, attorney at law. The data controller is Mehmet Rauf Bayer, registered with Istanbul Bar Association No. 2. There is no membership or payment on the site.

The language preference (Turkish, English or Arabic) may be stored in a technical cookie. It serves only to remember the language of the site and is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking.

If the contact form is submitted, the name, email, optional telephone number, subject and message are processed in order to reply to the request. The legal grounds are explicit consent and the establishment of a right under article 5 of Law No. 6698. The same purpose applies if you write by telephone, WhatsApp or email.

Server access logs (IP address, date and page requested) may be kept for a short period for security and technical operation. An IP address may be held briefly to rate-limit abuse of the form. The map embedded on the contact page is subject to Google's own privacy policy, and loading it connects your browser to Google's servers.

Form messages reach the office email through Resend, the delivery provider. Otherwise your data is not shared with third parties other than public authorities empowered by law. Mandatory retention periods under the Attorneyship Law and related legislation are reserved.

Under article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 you have the right to request information about the data processed about you, to ask for its correction or erasure and to object to the processing. Requests may be sent by email or in writing to the office address.
