This field governs the entry, stay and working status of foreign nationals in Türkiye. Law No. 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection and Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 are its principal texts, while work permits are governed by the International Labour Force Law No. 6735.
The periods for challenging administrative acts are short. A removal decision may be challenged before the administrative court within seven days, and that application suspends its execution. A decision of administrative detention may be challenged before the magistrate judge at any time. The date and form of service are therefore examined first.
